HomeAboutAdaptive AIIndustriesConsulting Jobs-PortalContact UsHomeAboutAdaptive AIIndustriesConsulting Jobs-PortalContact UsJob DescriptionJob OverviewJob ID:J52206Job Title:Network Security DevOps EngineerLocation:Spring, TXDuration:9 Months + ExtensionHourly Rate:Depending on Experience (DOE)Work Authorization:US Citizen, Green Card, OPT-EAD, CPT, H-1B,H4-EAD, L2-EAD, GC-EADClient:To Be Discussed LaterEmployment Type:W-2, 1099, C2CView All JobsSimilar JobsNetwork Security Analyst - Dallas, TXNetwork Engineer - Oakland, CANetwork Engineer - Portland, ORSr. Cloud Network Engineer/Architect - Bellevue, WASr. Cloud Network Engineer - Bellevue, WAKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage network security technologies and services across regions and infrastructure environments (data centers, offices, edge).Operate and maintain network security appliances (Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper), including software upgrades, patching, and lifecycle activities.Build and manage network security infrastructure using DevOps practices and automation tools to reduce manual intervention.Support security operations including monitoring, analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management.Evaluate security advisories/vulnerabilities and provide timely recommendations and mitigations.Participate in ad-hoc vulnerability assessments and incident response efforts.Coordinate with stakeholders across Cybersecurity, Projects, and internal customers to deliver secure network solutions.Develop and maintain operational processes, runbooks, and documentation for ongoing support.Participate in a global "follow-the-sun" on-call support rotation.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network security.Experience with network security platforms: Cisco ASA (CSM), FTD (FMC), FortiGate (FortiManager), Juniper SRX (Junos Space).Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI model, routing/switching, ACLs, NAT, DNS.Familiarity with security technologies: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption, authentication, vulnerability management, and incident response.Technical Skills & ToolsDeep knowledge of TCP/IP and Internet technologies, IPS/IDS, firewall virtualization, VPNs, NAT, DNS.Automation & DevOps: GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST APIs, Jenkins, Jinja2, YAML (experience with CI/CD concepts and tools is a plus).Cloud: Experience with AWS and Azure network security services and connectivity.Relevant certifications preferred but not required: Cisco (CCNA/CCNP Security), Fortinet (FCA/FCSS/NSE), CISSP, GIAC.Soft SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication in English.Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently in a global virtual team.Strong multitasking, prioritization, analytical mindset, and collaborative team orientation.Top 3 Required SkillsetsNetwork security firewalls and appliancesAutomation (Infrastructure-as-Code, scripting, CI/CD)Cloud connectivity and network security (AWS & Azure)Apply NowEqual Opportunity EmployerMACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC is an equal opportunity employer inclusive of female, minority, disability and veterans, (M/F/D/V).
