As a Clearing Operations Associate Director, you will be a part of this team, focused on overseeing and managing the settlement of financial transactions, ensuring that trades are accurately processed, cleared, and settled in accordance with regulatory requirements and Webull policies.In this position, you will utilize Excel to clean, analyze, and organize data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. As a member of this team, you will report directly to the Head of Clearing Operations, helping to streamline critical operational processes and enhance the overall efficiency of the team.In This Role, You WillServe as the subject matter expert (SME) in one or multiple functional areas for clearing. Functional areas include:Trading and Purchase & SalesCash (customer-facing) and Treasury (firm needs)Corporate Actions and Security MasterStock Record, Segregation, and Security MovementsAccount transfers, Cost Basis, Trade ReportingWrite desk procedures and create efficiencies in daily processingDeliver and discuss operational technical specifications to the development teamBe heavily involved in building out omnibus processes, procedures, controls, and overall best practicesAct as the primary point of contact for the introducing broker dealer to triage and assess issuesConduct all operational tasks including resolving trade breaks, margin calls, trade settlement, journals, corporate actions, dividends, ACATS, statement delivery, trade confirmations, proxy delivery, and position and cash reconciliationsDeliver objective analysis of error trends and opportunities and identify root causesIdentify opportunities to automate manual operational processes and partner with technology on system enhancements and UATThe Skills You BringBachelor's degree in Economics, Business, or Finance7+ years of experience in relevant fieldExperience in clearing omnibus or self-clearingExperience with systems including Broadridge, Penson/Apex, FISOwn one or more functional domains while maintaining cross-functional clearing knowledgePrior production experience working at a retail broker dealerStrong knowledge of DTCC settlement (CNS & non-CNS)What Makes You Stand OutSeries 7 or Series 99 licenseObtains Series 24 or willing to do so within 180 daysYou are a collaborative team player with the ability to leadYou bring strong problem solving, control, and project management skills to the tableYou have a keen sense of urgency and prioritize timely support resolutionYou excel in working efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast paced, multi-tasking environmentWhy Webull?Webull is more than a fintech company-we're a global community of innovators, collaborators, and trailblazers. At Webull, we're committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. The base salary range is $115,000-140,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus and full benefits.
