Field Service TechnicianHiFyve is hiring a Field Service Technician in the Heavy Equipment industry in Columbus, OH!Salary: $29–$37/hour - Company TruckShift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (hours may vary)Location: Columbus, OHJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesInspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment in shop and field environmentsPerform independent field service repairs without direct supervisionRepair and replace components including engines, hydraulic systems, air conditioning, suspension, braking, steering, drive-train, and electrical systemsPerform welding, brazing, fabrication, and modification of parts and equipment as requiredRead and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsSource, order, and install replacement parts as needed to complete repairsMaintain compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and DOT requirementsCommunicate repair causes and corrective actions to supervisors and customersTravel and work remotely, including overnight stays, as requiredEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED (required)Technical or vocational school training (preferred)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:General knowledge of complex hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and drive-train systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, drive-train, and air conditioning systemsWelding and fabrication experienceKnowledge of heavy equipment operationAbility to use electrical and hydraulic testing equipmentValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to obtain and maintain DOT Medical CertificationIf you are interested, please email John.Heinrich@HiFyve.com
