DevSecOps/Cloud Systems Engineer - Clearance Required

Overview In this role you will design, build, and operate secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to power Army enterprise systems. You will work across hybrid AWS environments, enforce DevSecOps practices, and ensure availability, security, and performance. Collaborating with testing and QA leads, you’ll streamline deployment templates and automate security gates. This position offers impact through mission-critical platforms and a security-conscious culture. ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines in GitLab with DevSecOps gatesStandardize deployment templates and workflows to accelerate developmentLead deployment and configuration of ERP testing platforms (Tricentis Tosca, qTest, NeoLoad, LiveCompare)Manage and troubleshoot hybrid deployments between EKS (Kubernetes) and EC2Manage and scale AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS)Implement strict cloud security controls including IAM, VPC, and least-privilege accessEstablish monitoring, logging, and alerting across EKS and EC2 for uptime and reliabilityTroubleshoot environment-related failures and performance bottlenecks Key requirements3 to 5 years of DevOps/DevSecOps/Cloud/Systems Engineering experience with production environmentsStrong hands-on AWS experience with EKS and EC2Proven GitLab CI/CD experienceProficiency in Python or Bash automationExperience integrating security tools (SAST/DAST, container scanning, secret detection) into CI/CDCollaborative leadership and mentoring abilities; able to work with testing and QA leadsActive Secret security clearancecollaborative leadershipmentoring junior team membersstrong independent work ethicAWS (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS)GitLab CI/CDKubernetes (EKS)
