MARKETING MANAGERAbout the RoleGeotrek is building its marketing team from the ground up, and we need someone who makes the whole machine run. You are the person who keeps the calendar tight, makes sure emails go out on time, tracks the project list, and ensures that every workstream across a fast-moving team stays on schedule.If you’re the person your team has always turned to to organize the chaos, build the tracker, and actually follow through — this is your role. You’ll work directly with Hanna (Director of Marketing) and across every marketing contractor and in-house team member we have.What You’ll OwnEmail Marketing ExecutionBuild, schedule, and deploy email campaigns in HubSpot — newsletters, nurture flows, promotional sendsQA every email before it goes out: links, UTMs, mobile rendering, list segmentationMaintain list health: suppression logic, unsubscribes, engagement-based segmentationPull performance reports post-send and flag key metrics to HannaProject ManagementOwn the marketing project board in Monday.com — keep it current, accurate, and usefulTrack deliverables across 10+ contractors and in-house team members; follow up proactively on blockersRun weekly marketing team check-ins — prep the agenda, take notes, distribute action itemsFlag capacity issues, timeline risks, and dependency conflicts before they become problemsMarketing CalendarMaintain the master marketing calendar in Google Sheets — the single source of truth for all campaigns, launches, events, and contentCoordinate campaign timing across paid, organic, email, and events so channels stay alignedKeep the calendar synced with trade show and expo schedule (15 shows annually)Surface conflicts and sequencing issues to Hanna proactivelyWhat We’re Looking For2-4 years of experience in a marketing, coordinator, or project management roExperience with email platforms — HubSpot preferred; Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar also consideredYou live in spreadsheets. You make trackers for fun. Your Google Sheets game is strong.Familiarity with project management tools — Monday.com, Asana, Notion, or similarStrong written communication — you can write a crisp email and a tight action item list without being told twiceDetail-oriented in a way that actually matters: you catch the broken link, the wrong date, the unsuppressed list before it shipsCalm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities without dropping the ballBonus PointsExperience supporting a small, fast-moving marketing team in a DTC or e-commerce brandFamiliarity with UTM tagging, basic analytics, and how to read a Looker Studio dashboardHubSpot certified or working toward itPassion for the outdoor or adventure space — you get what we’re buildingWhat You’ll GetA foundational role in building something — you’ll have visibility across every part of the marketing operationDirect mentorship from Hanna and exposure to brand, performance, and content strategy at a growth-stage companyRoom to grow as the team scales — this is a long-term seat, not a temp roleCompetitive salary, health benefits, and a team that actually uses its PTOThis is a full-time, in-person role in Boulder, Colorado.Salary Range: $65-$85k, Annually
