Position OverviewUnited States Secret Service has partnered with Tidewater Inc. to provide clinical and occupational health support services at the Rowley Training Center in Laurel, Maryland.We are seeking experienced and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a federal training environment by delivering high-quality medical care, ensuring workforce readiness, and responding to emergent situations as needed.This role requires professionalism, discretion, and the ability to operate within a structured, compliance-driven federal setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Clinical Care in a Training Environment: Deliver direct patient care to federal personnel, including assessments, treatment, and follow-up in support of training operationsConduct Medical Evaluations: Perform health screenings, intake assessments, and ongoing monitoring of individuals participating in training programsAdminister Medications and Treatments: Safely administer medications, immunizations, and basic treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocolsSupport Emergency Response: Provide rapid medical response during training-related incidents, including first aid, triage, and coordination with emergency services when necessaryMaintain Medical Documentation: Accurately document all patient encounters, treatments, and observations in compliance with federal and organizational standardsAssist with Occupational Health Services: Support injury prevention, wellness initiatives, and return-to-duty evaluationsEnsure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable federal healthcare regulations and contract requirementsCollaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, medical assistants, and federal personnel to ensure continuity and quality of careMaintain Clinical Readiness: Ensure all medical equipment, supplies, and treatment areas are fully stocked, sanitized, and operationalRequired QualificationsEducation: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited institutionLicensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland (or ability to obtain prior to start)Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) - requiredAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - preferredExperience:Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experienceExperience in occupational health, urgent care, emergency care, or training environments preferredClearance Requirements:Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain/maintain required clearancePreferred QualificationsPrior experience supporting federal agencies or government contractsExperience in high-readiness or physically demanding environments (e.g., training centers, law enforcement, military)Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsStrong understanding of workplace safety and injury response protocolsCore CompetenciesClinical Judgment: Demonstrates strong assessment and decision-making skills in dynamic environmentsProfessionalism & Discretion: Maintains strict confidentiality and composure in sensitive situationsAttention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in documentation and patient care deliveryCommunication: Effectively communicates with patients, leadership, and cross-functional teamsAdaptability: Thrives in a structured federal environment supporting mission-critical operationsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsWork performed in a federal training facility with both clinical and field-based support responsibilitiesMay require standing, walking, and responding quickly to emergency situationsAbility to support physically active training environmentsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate aligned with federal contract requirements and experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and paid time offOpportunity to support a critical federal mission with the United States Secret Service
