Bookkeeper (Distribution & Manufacturing Experience Required)

Job Description Job Title: Bookkeeper (Distribution & Manufacturing Experience Required)Location: Coral Springs, FL (On-Site)Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-TimePosition Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper with direct experience in distribution and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of QuickBooks , a working knowledge of sales tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions , and the ability to manage transactional accounting with precision. This role requires someone who understands inventory-driven businesses, cost flows, and the operational realities of a product-based company.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivablePerform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations (bank, credit card, vendor accounts)Manage and reconcile inventory-related transactions, including COGS and adjustmentsProcess vendor bills, purchase orders, and customer invoices in a distribution/manufacturing workflowAdminister payroll support and expense tracking (as needed)Prepare and file sales tax returns across multiple states, ensuring compliance with nexus requirementsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesGenerate financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and provide insights to managementCoordinate with CPA or external accountants for tax filings and auditsMaintain organized digital and physical financial recordsRequired Qualifications:3+ years of bookkeeping experience in distribution, manufacturing, or product-based businessesProficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online)Strong understanding of sales tax rules , multi-state filings, and exemptionsExperience with inventory accounting and cost tracking (FIFO, average cost, etc.)High level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle confidential financial information with integrityPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems integrated with QuickBooksFamiliarity with job costing or custom production environmentsPrior experience supporting a growing small-to-mid-sized businessAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation)Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experiencePaid time off and holidaysOpportunity to grow with an expanding companyHow to Apply:Please submit your resume along with a brief summary of your experience in distribution/manufacturing bookkeeping and sales tax compliance.This role is best suited for someone who can operate independently, maintain clean financials, and support operational decision-making in a fast-paced, inventory-driven business.
