After-School Program Director

Primary Responsibility of Afterschool Director is to oversee the programs, activities, and collaborative process in a comprehensive after-school program. Qualifications Valid driver's license Able to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check. Prefer a two year degree in education, preschool, etc. Hire and/or supervise other staff. Make presentations to the community. Make presentations to the school board, businesses, and community agencies. Meet regularly with the program director. Work closely with school staff. Assume responsibility for the building in the after school hours. Oversee evaluation activities. Develop and track budgets. Secure donations and funding for the program. Plan activities. Offer activities.
