Profession: Physician Specialty: Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Position Details: Rate Type: Daily Emergency/Temp Privileges: No Shift Type: Days Shift(s) Description: PRN - as needed basis. Shifts TBD. Half day is 4 hours or less. Full day is 4-8 hours. Job Description: We are seeking dedicated providers to perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams. The ideal candidate must be board-certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R. Responsibilities include conducting interview-based assessments and physical evaluations, such as range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and traumatic brain injury evaluations. Key Responsibilities: No prescribing or treatment is required. DMA certification available (can earn CME credits) - certification must be obtained once privileged if not already certified. Use of Goniometer required for evaluations. Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is essential. Proficiency in METs testing and the evaluation and diagnosis of respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions is required. Must own a personal laptop (NO Apple Laptops/MACs). Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report. The end product is the completion of standardized forms. Evaluations to be completed in the provider portal, and records will be reviewed.
