The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals in their home environments. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized assistance tailored to their unique needs.Base Pay: $17.00 per hour; there are shift differentials for weekend shifts, and shifts under 4 hours in length.Benefits:401(k)Flexible scheduleMileage reimbursementPaid time offPaid trainingWeekly and Daily PayReferral programDuties:Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living space.Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.Support medication reminders and ensure safety protocols are followed within the home environment.Assist with transportation for appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors and family members.Requirements:Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.Prior experience working as a caregiver or in a healthcare setting is preferred.Knowledge of geriatrics, medical-surgical care, outpatient clinics, and sub-acute care environments is highly desirable.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for assisting with errands and appointments. You will be asked for proof of car insurance with your name on it! We will not accept vehicle or insurance proof under a parents or someone else's name, it must be your ownership!Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred; ongoing training opportunities are available.Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting or assisting clients with mobility needs safely.
