Field Service Mechanic

Job Description Field Service MechanicPay Rate: $25-35/Hr. | Location: Houston, TX | Statues: Full-Time Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dependable Field Service Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment at customer job sites and company facilities. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and capable of working independently while providing excellent customer service in the field. Key Responsibilities:Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and operational issues on equipment and machinery.Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and component replacements.Troubleshoot equipment failures using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.Travel to customer locations to perform on-site service and emergency repairs.Complete service reports, work orders, and maintenance documentation accurately.Maintain company vehicles, tools, and service equipment in clean working condition.Communicate repair recommendations and equipment status to customers and management.Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards.Assist with shop repairs and equipment preparation when not in the field. Qualifications:2+ years of mechanical repair or field service experience on heavy equipment and machinery.Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, trailers, pumps, generators, or heavy equipment is a plus.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license with clean driving record.Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Strong communication and customer service skills.
