POSITION SUMMARY Associate Pastor of Congregational Care and Family Ministry will serve as a vital member of the ministry staff, responsible for coordinating pastoral care within the congregation, oversight for children's and youth ministries and new member outreach. The position ensures that covenant partners and families of the church are nurtured spiritually, provided spiritual guidance through counseling, supported in times of need, connected in Christian community and engaged in opportunities for growth in Christ. QUALIFICATIONS A deep abiding faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to the mission ofFirst Presbyterian Church Familiarity with traditional Presbyterian beliefs and practices, and anaffirmation of ECO Essential Tenets. https//eco-pres.org Experience incongregational care.
