Specialty Imaging Technologist (CT / Mammography / Special Procedures) A leading hospital in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Specialty Imaging Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures across areas such as Computed Tomography (CT), mammography, and special procedures. This role is ideal for a technologist experienced in high-acuity environments who can deliver high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key responsibilities include: Perform diagnostic imaging exams in specialized areas including CT, mammography, and interventional/special procedures Operate advanced imaging equipment and utilize specialized techniques and software for accurate diagnostics Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal imaging results Administer contrast media and monitor patients for reactions Follow established protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnosis Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards Qualifications include: Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program Active State of Nevada license in Radiology ARRT Registered in Radiography National certification in a specialty area (e.g., Computed Tomography, Angiography, or similar) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing CT exams, preferably in a trauma setting Experience with CT interventional procedures Strong background in high-volume, acute care or hospital environments Skills and competencies include: Proficiency with imaging technology, software, and diagnostic equipment Strong understanding of anatomy, radiography protocols, and contrast administration Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Excellent patient care and communication skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) Work environment includes: Hospital-based setting supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging Fast-paced, team-oriented department Requires standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients and equipment as needed Why join: Work with advanced imaging technology and diverse case types Collaborative clinical team environment Opportunities for growth and specialization within imaging services
