Job Description OverviewOur organization, dedicated to Women's Health, is composed of skilled physicians who possess the expertise necessary to deliver obstetric and gynecological care tailored to the diverse age groups of our patients.Located in Hartford, CT, Woodland Women's Health Associates is currently in search of a full-time physician to enhance our Ob/Gyn practice. Our team consists of 9 MDs and 1 APRN, who share on-call duties and serve patients across three office locations. We maintain affiliations with Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, West Hartford Surgery Center, and Hartford Hospital.Applicants should be capable of diagnosing patient conditions and offering suitable treatment options. A solid understanding of fetal growth and development principles is essential, along with the ability to recognize and categorize the specific needs of patients based on their age.Position Highlights:Conduct thorough physical examinations and gather patient medical information, including health history and examination results.Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.Provide instruction and counseling to patients on adherence to prescribed treatment plans, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional well-being, and health maintenance.Develop and execute patient management strategies, monitor hospitalized patients as necessary, document progress notes, and facilitate continuity of care.Achieve proficiency in the Electronic Medical Record System.Submit billing at the time of patient visits.Compensation and Benefits:Attractive compensation packageReimbursement for continuing medical education (CME)Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planShort- and long-term disability coverage, along with company-paid life insuranceFlexibility and work-life balanceA supportive and appreciative workplace cultureRequirements:Experience in OB/GYN or Women's HealthMD or DO degree from an accredited medical institutionBoard certified or board eligibleValid Connecticut medical licenseFederal and state controlled substance licensesBLS certificationEligibility for hospital privilegesStrong communication skills (both verbal and written), active listening, and customer service abilitiesAbout UsWe are a vibrant and engaged community of Ob/Gyn providers.
