ECG Central Lab Reader / Cardiac Electrophysiology Consultant (QTc Focused Clinical Trials)Job location: United States (Remote)We are seeking highly experienced ECG experts to support global QTc-focused clinical trials (multi-regional studies). The role requires advanced expertise in ECG interpretation and quantitative analysis to ensure high-quality cardiac safety assessment in clinical research.Role OverviewThis position is intended for cardiac electrophysiology (EP) or cardiology-trained professionals who are capable of independently performing quantitative ECG measurements and clinical interpretation of ECG waveforms , particularly in QTc safety studies.Candidates with operational-only ECG lab experience or non-physician technical backgrounds (e.g., cardiac ultrasound technologists/sonographers) will not be considered for this role , as the responsibility requires medical-level ECG adjudication expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform expert-level ECG review for QTc clinical trials, including manual/automated measurement and validation of QT/QTc intervalsConduct blinded independent review of 12-lead ECGs, assessing heart rate, rhythm, conduction abnormalities, and waveform morphologyProvide clinical interpretation of ECG findings in the context of cardiac safetyIdentify discrepancies in site-reported ECG data and guide re-assessment when neededContribute to QTc study design discussions and data review meetingsSupport preparation of clinical study reports and regulatory documentation (ICH E14 / S7B compliance)Candidate Profile / QualificationsMedical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Cardiology or Cardiac Electrophysiology (preferred)Valid medical license with substantial clinical experience in cardiology/EP practiceProven hands-on expertise in:ECG interpretation and waveform analysisQT/QTc measurement and cardiac safety evaluationThorough QT (TQT) or exposure-response QT studiesExperience in Central Labs, clinical trial ECG adjudication, or academic research settings strongly preferredStrong understanding of ICH E14, ICH S7B, and GCP guidelinesNote: Candidates with purely technical backgrounds (e.g., cardiac ultrasound technologists/sonographers) without formal ECG interpretation authority or EP/clinical cardiology training will not meet the requirements for this role. What We Are Looking ForWe are seeking qualified ECG experts with:Strong EP or cardiology backgroundDirect ECG adjudication and QTc study experienceAbility to perform independent quantitative ECG analysisPrior involvement in regulatory-grade clinical trials preferred
