Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Operator in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and suspicious activity, document observations, and provide professional customer service through clear communication. Respond to alarms, incidents, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document actions taken per site procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the financial services location, including lobbies, ATM areas, offices, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring entry points, and/or coordinating with site contacts regarding visitor management procedures. Complete required reports such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate notable observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Have supervisory experience. Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license. Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
