Based in Alpena, MI, the firm proudly serves its growing client base in the local community and beyond with trusted expertise and dedication.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for an Experienced CPA/Potential Partner located in Alpena, MI (on-site preferred, but hybrid considered). The role is a senior leadership position with the intention of a partnership role in the near future. As the practice is heavily tax-oriented, the role involves overseeing tax preparation for businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations as well as managing and executing financial statement engagements for clients, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax-preparation standards, and firm business development. The candidate will oversee client accounts/relationships, provide tax preparation/planning and accounting advisory services, and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality services.
