Accounting Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee and coordinate the financial operations of our organization.
Summary: Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures. Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy and applying observations and recommendations to operational issues. Uses accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports. Also, assists with payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee recordkeeping.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Maintains all related accounting records and accounting files in a neat and orderly manner, as well as reconciles general ledger accounts on a monthly basis. Also performs monthly closing procedures.
2. Performs all computer data entry to generate and review related reports and routine financial statements, check and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
3. Interacts with all company personnel regarding financial issues.
4. Maintains hourly employee’s attendance cards and files.
5. Assists CFO and Accountants with annual physical inventory, and annual financial audit/review as well as 401k audit.
6. Maintains fixed asset system.
7. Prepares credit memos as needed by the sales department.
8. Maintains IC-DISC journal.
9. Processes weekly payroll in conjunction with outside payroll service and reconciles electronic payroll software.
10. Assists in the administration of various employee benefit plans.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s/Masters Accounting
Minimum - 5 years prior accounting and payroll experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
