The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotelu2019s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. The Club Lounge Attendant is responsible for set up, clearing and cleanliness of the Club Lounge in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations. As a Club Lounge Attendant you play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to patrons. This position works 5 nights a week, with a schedule of 4pm - 9pm with occasional morning shifts during the weekend. What you'll be doing - Set up club lounge before service, arranging tables and chairs, and ensuring proper table settings. - Pickup and deliver food to the club lounge from the hotel restaurant. - Replenish food and beverages as needed throughout shift. - Greet guests, and may serve food and beverages following policies, procedures, brand standards, alcohol awareness and federal, state and local serving regulations. - Complete assigned side work and related cleaning duties in the hospitality area. - Maintain a clean and organized club lounge by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. - Assist with all aspects of service as requested. Skills and Abilities High School diploma Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Flexible scheduling to include nights, holiday and weekends. Working Conditions & Physical Effort: Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
