Surgery - General Physician

Facility in Paducah, KY seeking Orthopedic surgery locums coverage Rates: $2500 + $450/hr Opportunity Highlights Open Dates: April 3 (7:00 AM) April 13 (7:00 AM) with potential for ongoing needs. Schedule: 24-hour Emergency Call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM). Support: Managed within the EPIC EMR system. Demographics: Comprehensive care for Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric patients. Clinical Responsibilities The provider will be responsible for standard orthopedic surgical cases and trauma management. Required Clinical Expertise: Trauma: Fracture treatment, dislocations, amputations, and deformities. Hip Procedures: Hip Nailing (Mandatory), hip replacement, and hip repair/revision. Total Joint Care: Total joint replacement, revision, and repair of the Knee and Shoulder. Arthroscopy: Proficiency in arthroscopic procedures is required. Spine Surgery: Coverage includes Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar spine (with and without instrumentation). Provider Requirements Board Status: Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (Required). Licensure: Active Kentucky State License is required (IMLC is acceptable). Compliance: Active DEA and BLS Certification. Clinical Experience: General surgical and non-surgical orthopedic procedures, hip/knee replacements, and hip/knee repair or revision. Background: Clean background is required for credentialing. Submission Document: A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory. Education: Orthopedic Fellowship training is preferred.
