DMC Housekeeping Attendant (10 Full-Time) Swing/Graveyard Shift
SUMMARY:To effectively maintain clean and safe public and back of the house areas for our guests and team members at all times. KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge and CertificationRequired:High school diploma or GED preferred At least 18 years of age Preferred:Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations. Valid Driver's License Previous Commercial property cleaning experience preferred SkillsRequired:Good verbal communication skills Guest service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery Accurate and detail-oriented Must be eligible to obtain a Non-Gaming license Must Complete a 90-Day probationary period AbilitiesRequired:Abilities to maintain high confidentiality Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to work cooperatively with all departments Ability to ensure the completion of all job assignments To perform other functions as required Appropriate Dress Code ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCleans lobbies, casino, lounges, offices, restrooms, corridors, and stairways. Clean Dining Room, Lounge, and Kitchen areas Sweeps, scrubs, and polishes floors. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Cleaning of entire casino floor Maintain Front Entrance Dusts furniture, artwork, and picture frames. Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets, and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Repositions chairs etc. to original positions. Keeps all public areas in the casino clean of any unused glasses and bottles, and debris at all times. Reports all defects in equipment and furniture and fixtures to the Housekeeping Supervisor or the Maintenance Department when discovered. Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of Dakota Magic Casino and of the Housekeeping Department. Maintain and clean machines after use Report any Problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor Cleaning of all casino windows Exhibit a friendly and courteous manner when dealing with customer and fellow employees PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The Team Member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
