Judicial Technician

Judicial TechnicianA Judicial Technician in Magistrate's Court performs clerical and customer service functions associated with daily court operations. Job duties include, but are not limited to, data entry, records management, document preparation, processing incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling for court, and providing excellent customer service. Customer service entails in person, telephonic and electronic contact with customers, acceptance and processing of filings and payments, providing correct and concise information and treating all customers with dignity and respect.Typical QualificationsMinimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentExcellent Customer Service SkillsStrong Data Entry SkillsAttention to Detail and AccuracyDiscretion and Professional DemeanorSupplemental InformationAll applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment.
