Job Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated Auto Mechanic to join our growing team. Auto Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities Examine cars based on customer requests or concernsPerform basic maintenance, including changing motor oil, rotating tires, and checking fluid levelsRepair or replace worn parts and systems, such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, and sensorsFollow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all parts and systemsIdentify mechanical and electrical problems with both manual and computerized diagnostic equipmentPresent estimates to customers with an explanation of why repairs are necessaryPerform repairs thoroughly and accuratelyEnsure customer satisfaction at all times Auto Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferredCompletion of a postsecondary program in automotive service technology a plusASE certification requiredExperience with electronic systems maintenance and repairBasic computer skills requiredStrong communication skillsPhysical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
