Principal Data Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise data pipelines and foundational data assets Establish scalable and reliable data engineering practices Ensure enterprise data is accurate, secure, accessible, and aligned to business priorities Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise data pipelines and integrations Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentoring to data engineering team members Mentor and develop technical talent while fostering strong engineering discipline and accountabilityWhat You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field 8-12 years of experience in data engineering, delivering enterprise-scale data pipelines Strong SQL and data transformation expertise Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred), including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Fabric Experience integrating ERP and operational systems Proven experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers; prior people management experience is desirableWhat's On Offer Opportunity to lead design and development of critical data infrastructure Engage in advanced analytics, reporting, forecasting, and AI initiatives Contribute to establishing scalable data engineering standards and frameworksApply via Haystack today!
