Instrumentation Engineer Industry: Aerospace / Flight TestLocation: Moses Lake, Washington Contract: 12- month initial (extension likely)Pay: Competitive $ RateA leading aerospace flight test organisation is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to support aircraft testing and certification programmes.You’ll work across instrumentation design, installation, calibration, telemetry, data acquisition, and airborne flight test support within a highly technical Test & Evaluation environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and support aircraft instrumentation installationsProduce wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation packagesSelect and calibrate sensors (pressure, temperature, strain, position, etc.)Configure signal conditioning and data acquisition systemsSupport telemetry, IRIG Chapter 10 recording, and GPS systemsProvide ground and inflight test support, monitoring, and troubleshootingSupport flight test planning, documentation, and certification activitiesRequirementsDegree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Instrumentation or similar)5+ years’ instrumentation experience in a testing environmentAerospace or aircraft flight test experience preferredExperience with data processing, analysis, or programmingThis is an excellent opportunity to join a cutting-edge aerospace programme supporting advanced flight test operations on a contract basis.
