Investor Relations & Public Relations Analyst
Overview Investor Relations & PR Analyst at Matador Technologies Inc. (fully remote). You will craft the company narrative, boost visibility with shareholders, manage investor communications and social media, collaborate with external vendors, and spotlight the company’s positioning within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities Press Releases & News Communications: Draft, edit, and distribute press releases announcing corporate milestones, product launches, and financial results.
Media Engagement & Outreach: Identify and pitch industry media outlets, podcasts, and thought leaders to amplify Matador’s story.
Investor Relations Support: Coordinate with third-party IR vendors for shareholder communications, earnings summaries, and analyst interactions.
Social Media Management: Oversee Matador’s social media presence across channels (e.g., X, LinkedIn), ensuring consistent, authentic communications that align with brand and investor expectations.
Content Creation & Strategy: Develop blog articles, executive bios, talking points, Q&A decks, and FAQs for retail and institutional audiences.
Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage, social sentiment, and investor engagement; report insights and recommend improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with leadership and teams across legal, finance, and technology to align messaging, maintain regulatory compliance, and support public announcements.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
2–4 years of Investor Relations, PR, or media relations experience, preferably in fintech, blockchain, or publicly traded companies.
Strong writing and storytelling capabilities; attention to detail.
Familiarity with investor relations fundamentals and regulator-compliant messaging.
Proficiency in social media tools, monitoring, and analytics.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-evolving public company environment.
Exceptional communication skills, adaptability, and judgment under regulatory scrutiny.
Experience with TSXV or Canadian-listed companies, including understanding regulatory approval cycles.
Knowledge of blockchain, crypto-assets, or financial infrastructure.
Existing media or analyst network in fintech, digital assets, or capital markets.
A strong preference will be given to applicants with prior investor relations experience at publicly traded companies.
