Korean Bilingual Software Infrastructure Engineer (Mountain View, CA)
Our Customer is a Silicon Valley-based company that is engaged in researching emerging technologies.We are seeking a contract Software Infrastructure Engineer to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Mountain View, CA.As a Software Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, coordinating, and maintaining the SW/IT environment companies need to run internal operations and achieve business objectives.ResponsibilitiesKorean Bilingual required (business proficiency level)Oversee the architecture and technical direction of all software projects within the companyDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient software infrastructureCollaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in code quality, performance, and securityDevelop and implement strategies for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilitiesManage infrastructure-related issues and provide technical support to resolve them promptlyStay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to incorporate into the company's infrastructureImplement and manage infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similarConduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvementSkills And QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceMS in CS or related field is preferred5+ years of experience as a Software Infrastructure Engineer, Software Development Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar rolesKorean Bilingual required (business proficiency level)Experience with version control software (preferably Git), and developer platform like GitHub (preferred), GitLab, and other similar servicesExperience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and also with microservices architecture and related technologies are preferredSophisticated proficiency in at least one programming languageKnowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudUnderstanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and toolsUnderstanding of Software Engineering best practices and different Software Development and trade-offsFamiliarity with networking, security, and database administrationExperience leading major initiatives successfullyAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesWe offer a competitive salary range for this position.
