Registered Nurse - Pediatric Surgery (Day Shift)Location: Atlanta, GA, 30329Duration: 13 week contractShift: 8hr Days | 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekWeekly Pay: $2,400 - $2,640; (Negotiable based on experience)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatric Surgery department in a high-acuity surgical setting. The RN will provide expert, compassionate care to pediatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures including neuro, ortho, ENT, general, and ophthalmic (eye) surgeries.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to pediatric surgical patients.Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after surgery.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs.Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC EMR system.Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.Provide support to pediatric patients and their families throughout the surgical experience.Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications:Licensure: Active and Valid RN license (State of Georgia).Experience:Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.Proven travel nursing experience with supporting documentation.Strong background in pediatric surgery (preferred).Certifications (Required & Current):BLS (Basic Life Support)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization)CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) or CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)EMR Proficiency: Must have experience using EPIC.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated resume.Our recruitment team will reach out within 24 hours.
