MRI Technologist

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures. Responsibilities Conduct MRI scans according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Perform diagnostic evaluations by interpreting MRI images and collaborating with radiologists. Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions. Operate MRI equipment and ensure its proper maintenance and functionality. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and imaging results. Adhere to medical terminology standards when documenting findings and communicating with healthcare professionals. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technologies, including CT scans, to enhance diagnostic capabilities. Requirements Certification in MRI technology or related field is required. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to medical imaging. Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques and sonography is preferred. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and medical terminology is essential. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
