Job Title: SAP FICO ArchitectLocation: Washington, DC (Onsite)Employment Type: ContractJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Architect with deep expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling modules to lead enterprise-scale SAP transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP FI/CO, strong S/4HANA implementation knowledge, and a solid understanding of finance best practices within the banking domain.Key ResponsibilitiesLead SAP FICO solution architecture, design, and implementation initiatives.Work closely with business stakeholders to gather finance and accounting requirements.Design and optimize SAP FI & CO processes aligned with industry best practices.Drive SAP S/4HANA finance transformation projects and integrations.Provide architectural guidance for GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and related finance modules.Collaborate with technical and functional teams for successful project delivery.Support system integration testing, UAT, and production deployment activities.Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit standards, and banking regulations.Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership.Required Qualifications20+ years of overall IT/Industry experience.10+ years of hands-on SAP FI & CO experience.4+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience.Strong expertise in SAP Finance architecture and solution design.Experience with end-to-end SAP implementation projects.Strong understanding of finance business processes and reporting.Banking industry experience preferred.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred SkillsSAP S/4HANA FinanceSAP FI/CO ConfigurationFinancial Accounting (FI)Controlling (CO)Banking & Financial Services DomainIntegration with SAP modulesSolution ArchitectureFinance Transformation
