Unleash your talent and redefine what's possible.**Job Description:****BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company, is looking forward to hiring an experienced Alternative Delivery Structural Engineer!** **In this role, you will be trained and mentored under supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices and gain valuable exposure to company standards and exciting projects.****What You'll Be Doing:**+ Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for steel bridges; pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges; cast-in-place flat slabs; and miscellaneous structures, with guidance provided on assigned tasks as required+ Effectively apply pre-established design templates+ Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems+ Prepare engineering reports and contract drawings for review+ May assign, track, and review tasks of technicians or designers; technical discretion applied to first revision of technician work product+ Potential to serve as the Engineer-of-Record on assigned engineering tasks+ Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks+ Communicate effectively with team members, internal design groups, and external entities including clients, subconsultants, and relevant government agencies+ Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties+ Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns+ Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports+ Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals+ Contribute to the development of other team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering+ Professional Engineer (PE)+ Years of Experience: 4+ years**Security Clearance Requirement:**NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
