Downingtown, PA 19335Starting Wage: $20.00/hour - $24.00/hour based on experienceShift: 1st ShiftWork Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:00pmTypical Day in the Role:The Finishing Operator is responsible for tasks that include:Read and interpret job tickets to determine product specifications, then set up, operate, and maintain slitter/rewinder converting equipment (including rolls, guiding systems, blades, and cores) to slit materials to final size.Bring machines up to optimal speeds and continuously monitor performance, adjusting speed, tension, and pressure settings as needed to ensure efficient operation and proper web tension.Package finished rolls and print/apply customer identification tags according to specifications.Cross-training in other roles across the production environmentProblem solving issues that ariseEffectively working as a team member to meet production and company goalsQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree required1 or more years of relevant manufacturing experienceHighly motivated with a positive attitudeWillingness to utilize and learn new technologyWork Environment:Operates in a demanding, fast-paced, people-oriented manufacturing environment with frequent changes and interruptions, and multiple project assignments.Benefits:Paid Time Off and Paid HolidaysHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401K Employer Match and Profit-Sharing PlanPaid Uniforms, PPE, and FootwearCompensation Reviews Every 6 Months
