Position will be full time in a Classified environment at the customer site.Job DescriptionCandidate will manage building access (entry/exit and lab access), maintain physical security, and lead implementation of security program, preparing new procedures and making updates as needed.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipmentStudy and implement federal security regulations that apply to operationsObtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agenciesPrepare manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records; and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted spaces, records and materialsConduct security education classes and security auditsInvestigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be takenMaintain Facility ClearanceMaintain building access listSupport government and company audits and inspectionsAssist with travel preparations and visit requestsSubmit VARsValidate clearances for building visitors and provide escortOrganize, schedule, and support Classified Meetings and CVTCsProvide input for status reportsAdminister Emergency Action Plan Training for facilityAdminister Security Operating Procedure for buildingOrder equipment and materials for building as neededSubmit facility work orders as neededQualificationsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCEBachelor's degree and three (3) years or more of related experience; or seven (7) years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree will be acceptedCustomer Service oriented with strong oral and written communication skills.
