Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 36 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. • 60 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - UMASS Memorial and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - UMASS Memorial. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: RNs will be required to take a pass/fail Tele exam during orientation. RNs are only allowed 1 attempt, passing score is an 80%. If they do not pass, they will be canceled from their assignment. RNs NOT required to take pass/fail Tele exam: Mother Baby/Postpartum, Ambulatory, OR, SACU, Psych. Required Charge Nurse experience. Required skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, IV insulin protocols, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy.Preferred Skills/Experience: Preferred Teaching Hospital experience. Preferred skills: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Valve Repair/Replacement, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), CVVHD/CRRT, External ventricular drain (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Lumbar drains, Post Craniotomy, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury.Required Credentials: UMass requires a 3rd party education verification for ALL travelers regardless of profession.
