We’re looking for a Business Systems Manager.Job SummaryOversee the integration and optimization of the organization’s technology stack, ensuring seamless interaction between software and hardware systems to support business operations. Drive cross-functional collaboration to influence technology decisions and system design. This role focuses on optimizing workflows, maintaining data integrity, and enabling actionable insights through reporting and dashboards. Acting as a liaison between business units and technical teams, leading process improvements, manage integrations, and ensure stakeholders have the tools and information they need to make informed decisions.ResponsibilitiesOversee integration and optimization of business technology systems to improve efficiency and user experience.Gather requirements from stakeholders and act as liaison between business units and technical teams to translate business needs into system solutions.Advise on technology strategy, system selection, and configuration of modules that best align with business needs and objectiveDesign, implement, and maintain integrations between platforms and applications (in partnership with IT or vendors as needed).Develop and manage reports and dashboards using BI tool.Validate data sources, ensure consistency across systems, and maintain data quality standards.Document workflows and identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure tools are configured and adopted effectively.Lead change management efforts, including creating documentation and delivering training for new integrations and reporting tools.Monitor system performance and tool adoption; troubleshooting issues and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.Create clear rules and processes to keep data accurate and systems well-managed from implementation through upgrades, helping the organization use technology more effectively and efficientlyEssential Key Performance Indicators (KPI)Data accuracy and integritySystem adoption and utilizationOptimizationRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.5+ years of experience in business systems integration, reporting, or technology enablement roles.Strong proficiency in BI tools (Prophix preferred; Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik also valuable).Proven ability to influence technology decisions and drive adoption across multiple business units.Ability to lead change management initiatives, including training and stakeholder engagement.Solid understanding of data management principles, including data integrity and governance.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication skills with experience translating business needs into technical requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Physical RequirementsLevel 1: Sedentary WorkAbility to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods of time.Ability to lift or push up to 15 pounds occasionally.Why Basepoint Building Automations:Basepoint was built on the belief that the best companies are owned by the people who show up every day to do the work.
