******Must be Fluent in Russian Volvo and Freighliner Trucks Diesel Shop Foreman/Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a shop, manages a team of mechanics, and ensures all vehicles are repaired and maintained safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Supervision Prioritize, plan, and assign work to technicians. Coach, mentor, and train staff in proper work methods and safety procedures. Conduct performance evaluations, manage schedules (including shifts and on-call rotations), and resolve employee issues or conflicts. Participate in the hiring and discipline of subordinate employees. Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective. Maintenance and Operations Management Oversee and audit all vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventive maintenance (PM) on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy equipment Ensure all servicing and repairs meet manufacturer, federal, state, and local guidelines/regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA). Manage the workflow and documentation process, including work orders, repair logs, and inspection reports. Safety and Compliance Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Conduct safety meetings and vehicle/shop equipment safety inspections. Required Skills and Qualifications: o Experience: 3+ years heavy duty vehicle maintenance experience required o Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of diesel mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repair methods for heavy equipment. o Fluent in Russian Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree or technical school certificate is often preferred. Relevant certifications, such as Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications (especially in diesel engines or heavy trucks), are highly desirable and often required within a specified timeframe. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential for success. Licensing: A valid driver's license is required, and a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one may be preferred. Pay: $27.75 - $33.42 per hour Work Location: In person
