Substitute Custodian

Job Descriptions: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Substitute Custodian to join our team. In this part-time position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our employees and visitors. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and presentable at all times. Responsibilities: Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing various areas of the facility. Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and kept in hygienic condition. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly, recycling materials when applicable. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify areas needing attention or repair. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Assist with setting up and taking down furniture and equipment for events and meetings. Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and data protection. Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic understanding of safety practices and procedures related to custodial work. Hours: Day to Day Substitute
