Line / Prep Cook - Schulzes Schnitzel Kitchen

Job Description Schnitzel Kitchen is a German cuisine inspired quick service restaurant in Knoxville, TN.We are looking for experienced, creative, and passionate cooks to join our team. We are hiring prep and line cooks.Salary will depend to your qualification.Tasks:Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipesMemorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchenEnsure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standardsWork with team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when neededMonitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurantTake customer orders at counter in a rotating system with our POS - systemSkills and Requirements:3+ years' cooking and kitchen administration experienceHigh school diploma/GED requiredAbility to work on your feet for eight hours or more a dayHigh level of professionalismComfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environmentExcellent verbal communication and organization skillsMust be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basisJob Type: Full-time
