Job Title: Workday Techno-Functional ConsultantLocation: Remote – Anywhere in LATAMEmployment Type: ContractExperience Required: 9+ Years Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Workday Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in both Workday technical development and functional consulting. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on experience across Workday integrations, configuration, reporting, security, and architecture while also serving as a strategic functional SME capable of recommending industry best practices and optimizing Workday solutions.This role requires a professional who can independently engage with stakeholders, participate in solution design discussions, and lead technical implementation efforts while maintaining strong communication with global teams and business users. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Responsibilities (80%)Design, develop, test, and support complex Workday solutions and integrations.Lead technical architecture discussions and recommend scalable Workday solutions.Develop and maintain:EIBsCore ConnectorsStudio IntegrationsWorkday Web Services (WWS)REST/SOAP APIsCloud Connect integrationsBuild advanced calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and analytics.Configure and manage Workday security frameworks, domain security policies, and business process security.Support data conversion, migration, and transformation activities.Troubleshoot integration failures, performance issues, and production defects.Collaborate with external vendors and third-party systems for integration requirements.Participate in Workday release management activities, including impact analysis and regression testing.Document technical designs, architecture diagrams, and deployment procedures.Ensure compliance with Workday development standards and governance practices. Functional Responsibilities (20%)Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday functional capabilities.Work closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend best-fit solutions.Provide guidance on Workday best practices, process optimization, and configuration strategies.Support business process design and configuration improvements.Assist in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Participate in workshops, solution demonstrations, and stakeholder meetings.Recommend improvements aligned with industry standards and Workday roadmap capabilities. Required Skills & QualificationsMandatory Skills9+ years of overall IT experience with significant Workday implementation/support experience.Strong expertise in:Workday StudioEIBCore ConnectorsWorkday APIs/Web ServicesCalculated FieldsAdvanced ReportingWorkday SecurityHands-on experience with Workday HCM and at least one additional module such as:PayrollFinanceRecruitingTalentTime TrackingAbsenceBenefitsPreferred QualificationsWorkday certifications are highly preferred.Experience working in nearshore/offshore delivery models.Prior experience in client-facing consulting roles.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Exposure to enterprise HR transformation projects.Knowledge of integration middleware platforms is a plus.
