Mechanical EngineerDirect HireOnsiteDayton, OHSalary $85,000/yr - $105,000/yrPosition OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team This role is well-suited for an early-career engineer who enjoys hands-on work, technical problem-solving, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.The Mechanical Engineer will support Integrated Product Teams in the design, analysis, manufacture, and testing of digital, RF/analog, and mixed-signal electronics hardware across multiple levels of integration, including chip, PCB, module, chassis, and system-level designs. This position offers strong mentorship, technical growth, and exposure to real-world product development in a collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign mechanical parts, enclosures, and assemblies for electronic systems using SolidWorksCreate and update 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)Support thermal and structural evaluations through simulation, analysis, or testingCollaborate closely with electrical engineers to ensure proper PCB integration, fit, and mechanical clearancesAssist with prototype builds, lab testing, and design verification activitiesParticipate in design reviews and contribute to product improvement discussionsApply best practices in electronics packaging, manufacturability, and material selectionRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline4+ years of relevant experienceWorking knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD softwareBasic understanding of thermal principles and heat dissipation in electronic systemsStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-based engineering environmentTECHEAD's mission is to make our associates successful by placing them in the right environment so they can grow and prosper.
