JOB TITLE: Engineering InternDEPARTMENT: EngineeringREPORTS TO: Sr. Manufacturing EngineerCLASSIFICATION: HourlyPurpose and ScopeThe Engineering Intern supports the Engineering and Production teams by assisting with process improvements, design updates, and data-driven problem solving. This role contributes to improving manufacturing efficiency, maintaining accurate engineering documentation, and supporting troubleshooting and implementation of equipment and process changes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce wasteAssist in bringing drawings up to date with current tooling and parts Support production troubleshooting and root cause analysisCollect and analyze data related to quality, scrap, and downtimeHelp develop and update work instructions, bill of materials, and standard operating proceduresCollaborate with production and quality teamsSupport implementation of new equipment or process changesAssist in design improvements for electrical routingsAssist in design improvements of hose routings and lengthsOther duties and projects assigned.QualificationsQualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.Technical Requirements: CAD design required; SolidWorks & ERP system experience is a plus.
