Initially established in Grain Valley, the company recently expanded its operations with a new shop in Blue Springs. Brad Eldridge's vision was to create a business that not only excelled in logistics and repair services but also served as a pillar of support for the local community. He was passionate about sharing his knowledge and skills with anyone willing to learn, fostering a culture of education and mentorship within the industry. Unfortunately, Brad passed away from cancer at the end of 2023. Despite this heartbreaking loss, Carrie and their family are dedicated to fulfilling Brad's dream. Through their commitment and hard work, they strive to honor Brad's legacy and ensure that his vision lives on. *Overview* We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background with experience in servicing various types of commercial class 8 and higher vehicles. *Responsibilities* - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial class 8 and higher vehicles and equipment. - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues - Conduct diagnostics to determine necessary repairs - Service diesel engines, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems - Maintain detailed records of all work performed - Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs to clients *Experience* - Proven experience as a Mechanic or Service Technician - Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engine repair - Familiarity with semi truck & commercial class 8 and higher vehicle diagnostics and repairs - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Life insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday No weekends People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Diesel engine repair: 7 years (Required) Mechanical knowledge: 7 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Blue Springs, MO 64014 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Blue Springs, MO 64014: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
