Job SummaryGroup Exercise Instructors lead, instruct and motivate individuals or groups in various exercise activities, including cardiovascular workouts, strength and stretching. $20-$35/HrDuties & ResponsibilitiesProvide a safe, efficient and fun group fitness class to a diverse group of physical capabilitiesCome prepared and arrive 10-15 mins prior to start of classEncourages participants to reach their fitness and wellness goalsHave their music cued and ready before class is scheduled to startProperly introduce themselves to the participantsRecord attendance on Group Ex Pro Instructor portalEnsure the safety and well-being of each participantCommunicate with other staff and supervisor on GroupMe appKeeps up to date on safety and fitness trendsMaintains a positive attitude for members and staffPost substitute request on Group Ex Pro in a timely mannerMinimum Qualifications:Requirements & QualificationsCPR, AED and First Aid certificationHold a nationally accredited group exercise certificationMaintain proper certifications for all programs taughtMust be comfortable in front of group and be able to motivate participantsAbility to work with a diverse population and demonstrate an appreciation for individual capabilitiesMust download and use GroupMe app for all communicationMust download and use Group Ex Pro Instructor PortalExcellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
