Vice President Finance

A large Los Angeles based hospital, looking to hire a VP Finance / Controller to lead all accounting operations, ensure clean financials, and drive performance across the organization.What You’ll Own:Full accounting oversight (GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, budgeting)Accurate, timely financials (monthly/quarterly/annual) in accordance with GAAPMonth-end & year-end closeInternal controls, audits, and complianceCash flow, forecasting, and financial planningRevenue cycle partnership (AR valuation, performance optimization)Hospital reimbursement (Medicare/Medicaid, DSH, HQAF, etc.)Financial systems, reporting, and process improvementLead & develop the accounting teamWhat We’re Looking For:15+ years progressive finance leadership5+ years as Controller / Finance Director (or similar)Strong hospital/health system experienceDeep knowledge of GAAP, reimbursement, budgeting, collectionsExperience with managed care / capitation preferredCPA strongly preferred | Master’s a plusComfortable in a union environmentWhy This Role:True executive visibility—partner directly with the CFO & leadershipImpact both financial performance and patient care outcomesOpportunity to modernize processes and drive growth
