Staff Accountant

Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesSupport inventory accounting, including cycle count reconciliation and valuationAnalyze material, labor, and overhead variancesAssist with standard cost updates and cost roll-upsReconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepanciesSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as neededAssist with fixed asset tracking and capitalizationMaintain compliance with GAAP and internal controlsSupport internal and external audit requestsPartner with plant operations to ensure accurate financial reportingRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required1-4 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)Understanding of inventory and cost accounting principlesWorking knowledge of GAAPStrong Excel skillsExperience with ERP systems (Infor, Oracle, JD Edwards, Epicor, or similar) preferred
