Registered Nurse Travel Job Telemetry Shift Nights

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry~ Discipline: RN~ Shift: 12 hours, nights~ Employment Type: TravelTitle= RN Med Surg/ TeleShift- 3*12 NightRN - MedSurg/Tele● About Facility:· Not a Teaching Hospital· Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit● Unit Information:· Beds: Will vary based on unit· 18 months Med/Tele RN (Resource Team requirement)· o Will be assigned a home unit on the first day of orientation3N Medical Telemetry· Behavioral health● RN: 1:5-6 (critical surge 1:7-8)· Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps· Charge nurse – may or may not have patients· Phlebotomy – peripheral blood draws· Resource Nurse – as staffing allows· Hospitalist, 24/7· Intensivist - ICU provider in house until 11p M-F, till 7p Sat/Sun, VCC coverage and on call Intensivist· Telemetry monitoring/tech? Technology/Equipment:· EMR: Epic· All units within scope at Mercy· Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable· Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arisesRegion 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main CMC Mercy Levine Children's Hospital)If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)● Orientation (facility and unit):· Weekend rotation: every other· Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays· RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours· TB_RN#Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
