This role will be key in working with various infrastructure teams (Security, Networking, Database, Unix) to develop, deploy and support applications. Due to the collaborative nature of the role, it will be important that this resource be senior in both DevOps / AWS / technical skills and interpersonal skills. Candidate should have strong communication, teamwork, customer service and leadership skills to partner with broader global technology engineering, information security and line of business teams Use Terraform and AWS to deploy highly available, scalable, and secure applicationsAssist in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutionsProvide consulting and technical expertise on securely integrating additional cloud services and third-party solutions (such as Salesforce) into their applicationCollaborate with the Cloud Engineering, Cloud Security, and Identity Teams on the administration and engineering of Role-Based Access Controls and processesHelp design and develop Governance of cloud infrastructure, including both technical controls and cost governance structuresCreate and update support documentation and standards.Develop automated methodologies for deployment activities, configuration management, supporting systems and business processes.Use Jira to track and manage all work through the development life cycle.Proactively analyze and contribute improvements to support our deployment processesInvestigate and contribute to solving various issues in production environments.Drive compliance and security efforts related to systems managed by the team. Skills / ExperienceExperience in designing and implementing highly resilient, cloud-native and multi-region solutions for public cloud infrastructureStrong proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS) and Kafka (MSK) in AWSStrong proficiency with High Availability and resiliency in the cloudAWS professional and/or specialty certifications, such as Solutions Architect, DevOps EngineerExperience in implementing Secure Architectures for private and/or public internet facing systemsStrong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure, and best practices. Such as Containers, Serverless, MicroservicesStrong understanding of IaC, CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, Bitbucket, Bamboo etc.Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols and distributed systemsProficiency in Python, AWS CLIWorking knowledge of Shared Responsibility modelsPrior experience building out CI/CD pipelinesExperience working in Agile teams, and related tools (Jira, Confluence, etc)Background in software development a plus
