TRAVELING PAID MILEAGE ORTHODONTIC REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT (RDA)TRAVELING Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant supports the orthodontist in delivering high-quality patient care during orthodontic procedures and treatments. This role assists with braces, aligners, records collection, sterilization, patient education, and maintaining efficient clinical operations.Key Responsibilities:Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for orthodontic proceduresAssist orthodontist during patient exams and treatmentsTake digital X-rays, photographs, impressions, and intraoral scansPlace and remove orthodontic appliances as permitted by state regulationsAdjust arch wires, brackets, and bands under supervisionSterilize instruments and maintain infection control standardsEducate patients on oral hygiene and appliance careUpdate patient charts and treatment records accuratelySchedule appointments and coordinate patient flowMonitor inventory and order clinical supplies as neededEnsure patient comfort and provide excellent customer serviceQualifications:Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licenseCPR/BLS certificationOrthodontic assisting experience preferredKnowledge of dental software and digital imaging systemsUnderstanding of OSHA and infection control proceduresStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced clinical environmentPreferred Skills:Experience with Invisalign and digital scannersBilingual skills preferredTeam-oriented attitudeStrong attention to detail and professionalismWork Environment:Orthodontic or dental office settingStanding for extended periodsFrequent interaction with patients and clinical staff
