This role serves as the primary operator responsible for translating integration strategy into execution, ensuring seamless transitions of clients, systems, data, processes, and people into the firm. Working closely with internal stakeholders and incoming teams, this individual will deliver a consistent, high-quality advisor and client experience while helping to build and scale Cresset’s integration capabilities, contributing to the firm’s continued growth.What We’re Looking ForA proven operator who brings structure, discipline, and execution rigor to complex integrationsA systems thinker who can identify patterns, surface insights, and help evolve integration strategy over timeA collaborative partner who can translate strategic vision into clear, actionable plansA leader who is comfortable operating without direct authority and influencing across the organizationKey ResponsibilitiesIntegration Execution & DeliveryLead day-to-day execution of integration plans across M&A and lift-outsTranslate strategic integration plans into detailed workstreams, timelines, and deliverablesServe as the primary operator ensuring milestones, risks, and dependencies are actively managedIdentify and resolve issues early, escalating when appropriateDeal Lifecycle ParticipationParticipate in due diligence to identify key risks, operating models, and integration considerationsSupport late-stage conversations by clearly articulating the integration approach and advisor experienceLead readiness planning, including pre-close checklists, break readiness, and contingency planningAdvisor & Client TransitionServe as a primary point of contact for incoming teamsEnsure a smooth transition experience while maintaining Cresset standardsReduce friction for advisors and clients through proactive problem-solving and communicationCross-Functional LeadershipDrive coordination across operations, compliance, technology, reporting, finance, HR, and client serviceEstablish clear ownership and accountability across all integration workstreamsLead regular integration meetings / discussions and working sessions to track progress and resolve blockersSystems & Data IntegrationOversee integration of technology tools (ex. Salesforce, Addepar, custodian platforms, and financial planning)Coordinate data migration, validation, and reconciliationIdentify and resolve system gaps, inconsistencies, and reporting issuesInvestment & Platform IntegrationSupport review and mapping of portfolios, securities, and alternative assetsCoordinate platform approvals and transitions with investment and operations teamsAddress custodial setup, pricing discrepancies, and account structure issuesProcess & Playbook DevelopmentDevelop and refine integration playbooks and best practicesDocument lessons learned and continuously improve workflowsSupport scaling the integration function as deal volume growsQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications a plus7–10+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or integration-focused rolesProven ability to lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives and fluency with project management tools (e.g., Asana)An understanding of custodial platforms (Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing), advisor technology ecosystems (e.g., Addepar, E-Money, MSCI Wealth, Salesforce), and investment portfolio structuresExceptional communication, organizational, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate with a high degree of ownership in a fast-paced, evolving environmentClear alignment with Cresset’s values of client-first excellence, partnership, collaboration, and continuous improvementWhat We Offer:At Cresset, we focus on people first. As a service business, our people are our assets. Engaging our clients and employees is our highest priority. Starting base salary is $160,000 - $180,000. Salary will be based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, licenses/certifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location. Cresset offers a competitive compensation package including an annual incentive and a benefits package to all full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, health savings accounts, short and long-term disability insurance, voluntary critical and accident insurance, and pre-tax parking and transportation programs.
