The Paralegal will support attorneys by preparing and organizing legal documents, drafting routine correspondence, and assisting with filings and case management. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal and factual research, reviewing and summarizing documents, maintaining case files and calendars, and tracking deadlines. The role also involves coordinating with clients and external parties, organizing exhibits and evidence, and supporting attorneys in preparation for hearings, meetings, and other proceedings. The Paralegal will follow firm procedures, maintain confidentiality, and help improve workflows to support an efficient, client-centered practice.Qualifications Solid understanding of Law and legal procedures, with the ability to apply legal concepts to case work.Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review, including drafting, formatting, and organizing legal filings and correspondence.Strong Communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, and external parties in a clear and professional manner.Demonstrated Research skills, including locating and analyzing statutes, case law, and other relevant materials.High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in managing files, data, and deadlines.Ability to prioritize multiple matters, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.Experience with legal practice management software and standard office productivity tools is preferred.Paralegal certificate or relevant post-secondary education in legal studies, or equivalent practical experience.
